Good news.

My update for the day.

Last night, I went to bed at 10:40PM, read for 15 mins. I was asleep at 11 PM ( It takes only few mins for me to go to sleep)

I woke up at 5:00 AM (Yeah). It was hard but I remember your words to jump right into shower and turn cold water on.  Right on! 

I will not let you down, it's a promise.

Try to set an alarm for 10:30 tonight...then, you will know when you have 30 minutes to be in bed.  This will give you time to begin relaxing and to get ready for bed.

I went to bed at 12:30. OOPS ! I did not realize that I was past 11 PM when I started writing my article. 

I woke up at 5:30 AM. I fell short by 30 mins.

Strategy today -

Remind myself when 11 PM hits. Wake up at 5 AM

I am confident that I will get this habit soon.

The most IMPORTANT thing is to NOT give up...tomorrow is a new day.  Each morning, have something to do when you get up.  Don't just let yourself sit in grogginess...this will allow you to justify going back to sleep.

I'm glad you have decided to post your results.  I believe you WILL be able to form this habit. You just have to stick to it.

What Am I going to do ?

Well, 1) I am going to bed no later than 11 PM 
and   2) I will jump out of the bed at 5 without thinking. I believe that if I can overcome emotions for few seconds, I will be a winner.
