Wow! I didn't know there were so many components to a Master Cleanse. I thought it was just the maple syrup, lemon juice, cayenne pepper and water tonic. I will check out your video diary on You Tube to see how you progress.

I have also heard of sun gazers in India (I think), where some people get all of the nutrients they need from the sun and water. They gaze at the sun during sun rise and sunset. Make sure you get some sunshine every day!

Thank you for sharing your journey.

Oh man, you think 6 weeks goes fast? Wait till your baby turns 1.

You're in such an exciting period right now. As you write about in your article, make sure you are fully present in the moment and enjoy every moment with your baby :)

G.: I'm glad you think that thing looks nasty. Honestly, when I wrote this, I was on Day 4 of my fasting and it was looking great. Now that I look at it again, it makes me want to pass!

Have you seen "Peaceful Warrior" movie yet with Nick Nolte?

Chris,

My take on what Tad says here is that thinking about future is fine but that future has not arrived yet. Today is here. Take that time and enjoy it with your kids, wife, parents etc. Buddha preached importance of the mindfulness solely based on the fact that past is dead, future is unborn but today has arrived. Enjoy it.

Chris,

It is ok to plan for the future, which sounds like what you are doing. If you are constantly worrying and becoming stressed about it, then would be the time to step back and realize you can't control the future until it becomes the present. If you are planning for the future, great! You should have a solid plan. If you have a plan, you can do things now that will help you reach that plan.
